Rafaél González y González

Rafael carved this black Christ and kept it by his beside for about fifty years until his death in 1996. It is unsigned but his widow Candida Escobar travelled to Guatemala City with his grandson and namesake Pedro Rafaél González Chavajay to obtain a signed notarized document detailing its history.
